Whether a tree has outgrown its spot, is dying, or is too close to the house, we’ll remove it safely and leave your section clean.
Where there’s room, a tree can be felled in one piece. Where there isn’t, it’s taken down in sections so nothing lands on roofs, fences or garden beds. We work right across Christchurch, with most of our jobs in Burwood, Parklands, Shirley and the surrounding eastern suburbs.
Once a tree is down, the wood doesn’t just get dumped. Suitable timber can be cut into firewood rounds, and branches go through the chipper for mulch. Firewood can be left on site in rings and manageable sized pieces or removed from site.
Every job starts with a free site visit. Matt comes out, looks at the tree and the access, and gives you a firm quote in person. Photos sent through the form help us plan, but we’ll always see the job before we price it.
Most trees on private property don’t need consent, but some are protected under the Christchurch District Plan. If we think your tree might be one of them, we’ll let you know at the site visit.
Yes. Trees near buildings are taken down in sections and lowered in a controlled way, so nothing drops onto the roof or gutters.

We will arrange stump grinding for you if you would like the stump removed – or we can poison it to prevent regrowth.
